What a busy week!

It seems lik this has been a week of running for us!  Monday through Thursday of this week Payton participated in a cheerleading clinic.  I would pick the kids up at school and fly over to Jackson where the practices were held (started at 3:15).  I would drop Payton off and then Carson and I would hang out for an hour until she was done.  We shopped for groceries, played at the park and then played at the school.

Yesterday got kind of crazy!  I was getting stuff ready for a picnic we were going to take to the park with our friends Jan and Ellie when the school called.  One of Carson's eyes was really red and swollen and they thought it might be pink eye.  Apparently another kid in his class had it.  I left to pick him up a little before 2.  By the time we got home, it was looking a lot better and didn't appear to be pink eye.  Carson has some pretty bad allergies and takes 3 different medicines.  The night before he had fallen asleep on the sofa and didn't get 2 of them that day so I am guessing that is why he was having trouble with his eyes.  Anyway, we went back to school and picked Payton up at 3 and headed to Jackson.  We dropped her off at cheerleading and then headed to my office with Aidan. 

After cheerleading Jan, Ellie, Carson and Aidan took off and Payton and I went to her dance teacher's house to get fitted for dance shoes this year. We met up with the rest of our gang and headed to the park for a picnic and some quality play time.  We stayed until after 7 and then headed home.  Payton had some homework and a spelling test to study for.  Carson fell asleep again before bath time so he slept in his clothes again! 

Tonight Payton performs her cheers and a dance routine at the football game.  I am excited to watch and see what she has learned!  We start gymnastics tomorrow morning and then have a birthday party tomorrow afternoon.  It should be a fun weekend!
