The Weekend is Over?

Wow!  Where did the weekend go???  It is hard to believe it came and went already!  We had a great time this weekend and packed a ton of things in!

Friday I picked the kids up from school like I always do and asked them what their favorite part about the day was.  Carson informed me it was getting chased by girls!  We went home and got our things ready for the football game.  Payton performed cheers and a small dance during half time of the game.  Below are 5 different video clips of her performace:

The routines / cheers were very cute and as always...we were pretty proud!  We took Aidan with us and he was a champ!  He sat in his infant carrier most of the game until he was ready to be fed.  I know we have said it before, but we are very blessed to have such a good baby.  Carson was stoked b/c his friend Nicholas was there.  The boys got to watch the game, play, laugh and just hang out.

Saturday morning was Payton’s first day of intermediate gymnastics. No more beginners! The good thing is that we do not have to be in Jackson at 8:00 a.m. anymore. The bad news is that practice goes from 10-11:30 so it takes up most of a Saturday morning. She was pretty nervous about being with the bigger girls but that soon faded. When I picked her up she said she had a great time!

We had time to go home and eat a quick lunch before she was off to a birthday party for one of her classmates. She had a great time there and was tuckered out when she got home!

Sunday we got up and went to church. Payton and Carson started a new year of Sunday School so they got to go to their new classrooms. When we got back, Carson got to have his friend Nicholas come over for a play date. Those boys played all day! They were so good and the weather outside was fabulous! They took a bunch of trucks / toys outside and made roads / a tree house / helicopter pad with sidewalk chalk and played until Nicholas’ dad showed up to pick him up!

Payton had some homework (which she was very excited about) to do and Carson is Friend of the Week at school this week so we had to get backpacks packed. Carson got to bring pictures from home and a special object (his frog Webkin from Jan and Kay) to take to his class.

We have a quiet week this week. Aidan and I go back to the doctor for checkups and Payton’s class has a trip to the apple orchard but other than that, we should be at home until the weekend! We hope you all have a great week!!
