Fun Weekend Outdoors

What a gorgeous day we had yesterday. It was nice and sunny but the temps were in the 70’s. We spent the entire day outside. Mike and Carson went for a bike ride and then all four of us went for a walk. It was kind of cute because Mike and Carson took Ben and Jade on the leashes and Payton pushed her Bitty Twin American Girl Dolls in their double stroller. Me – I just walked my belly! J Mike took sidewalk chalk and made a “city” on our front drive way and Carson brought out some of his hot wheels cars and played. It was pretty cool and kept Carson entertained. Since it was so nice out, we decided to go camping in the backyard last night. Mike lit the fire pit and we roasted hot dogs for dinner followed by make S’Mores. Then, Mike set up the tent and we slept outside. I was a little nervous how I would do on an air mattress but you will be surprised how well you sleep when you are worn out! I woke up at about 2:30 and needed to use the restroom so I just stayed inside in my comfy bed. About 20 minutes later the rest of the gang joined me because it started raining. I could not get back to sleep so Mike and I watched a little TV. I didn’t get up this morning until almost 9:00! We decided to stay home today and just relax and pick up the house a little. Payton brought her babies into my room and we played house. She thinks it is funny when I tell her I am the grandma to her babies. Mike and Carson got out the John Deere tractors and plowed and planted the living room carpet. I think Mike likes playing with those as much as Carson does! It rained again for a while this morning and we are hoping it clears off so we can have another great day outdoors before our week begins again tomorrow! Here are some pictures of our fun day!
