I was looking forward to a nice morning where the whole family could sleep in. Mike and I both have today off and are looking forward to a long weekend with the kids. I was wide awake at 4:30 this morning and decided to be productive if I couldn't sleep! I have cleaned the kitchen, cut up fruit for the weekend, mopped the floor, did a load of laundry and a load of dishes and started on the bathroom! All before 7:30. I will be ready to go back to bed when everyone else is waking up!
We are having a low-key weekend since the baby is due to come any day now. Every little pain I have gets me excited that it might be a contraction but nothing to report so far! Today we are working on the kids' pool, mowing the lawn and hanging out at home. (I say we when Mike will actually be the one donating all the manual effort...I am a really good supervisor though!)Tomorrow we will travel to Okabena to watch the parade and fireworks. Hopefully we have nice weather that isn't too hot! My tennis shoes are starting to get too tight for my swollen feet and I literally have nothing else to wear....Oh the joys of pregnancy!
