Catching up...AGAIN!

Have you ever looked around you and realized just how truly blessed you are?  I have had a few of those moments lately.  Why is it that it takes something scary to put things in the right perspective and make you realize how blessed you have been and how lucky you are to have the life you have???  Anyway, we are blessed with three amazing kids and I am blessed with a great husband....yes, I am thankful.

As always, we have been very busy running and traveling and trying to keep up with our lives!

Last weekend we traveled to Rochester to Carson's state wrestling meet.  We had so much fun!  Carson did great and we were very proud of how hard he wrestled!  He even got a pin in which was exciting!  We had a goal at the beginning of the year to wrestle 40 matches and he got 42 in total.  AMAZING!  He had fun hanging out with other wrestlers his age and was truly worn out!  Thankfully the kids didn't have school last Monday so they got to go to Ellen's and play for the day.  It was good to let them relax and unwind after a busy weekend!

Aidan continues to grow and is developing his verbal skills.  I love some of his little words..."oh no" and "wow" are two of his favorites right now!  He is so cute!  I don't care if I am his mom...he is CUTE!

Last night Payton's dance class had their group pictures.  It is always fun to go and see all of the new dance costumes.  I love Payton's this year!  It is very sassy and I love the color!  It is always a stressful night trying to get hair and makeup done in time to get there (Jackson) in one piece.

We are looking forward to spring....for the first time since fall we can actually see grass...the snow is starting to melt and I can't wait for it all to be GONE!!  We are taking the kids this weekend to a hotel w/ a waterpark and Mike is taking the boys to Cabelas and Payton and I are going to have some more girl time.  Next weekend Payton and I are meeting with our friends Jan and Ellie and heading to the cities.  We are spending the weekend at the Mall of America and one whole day is dedicated to going to the American Girl doll store.  Payton has been saving her money and thumbing through the AG catalog trying to decide what she is going to get!  She is so excited to spend the entire weekend with her friend Ellie too....she can't wait!

Here are some pictures of the past few weeks:
