Payton's birthday party was on Saturday. We invited 5 of her friends and headed down for a little bit of pampering. They all got a mini mani, mini pedi, up-doo and makeup. I think all of the girls had a great time! After the pampering, we headed back and had cookies w/ pink frosting and sprinkles with juice boxes. Payton opened her gifts and then we headed out for a photo shoot! We took a few pictures in the mall but had the most fun at the lake. The girls had a blast and we got some excellent photos!
Before we knew it, it was time to head back home. After all the girls were delivered home, Payton, her friend Karlee and I headed over to Jackson to watch the Prom grand march. What beautiful dresses!! Karlee and Payton thought it was very cool and they looked so cute with their new looks and cute outfits!
We headed back home and met the boys here for pizza and then some cake for dessert! Payton and Karlee stayed up until ten and I finally made them go to bed!!
I went to bed a little sad...I can not believe our first miracle is eight years old. How did that happen? I still remember her as a baby just like it was yesterday. She is so mature and talks like a little adult. I am not going to lie...it hurts my heart a little to see her so grown up...
Today we all headed down to Spirit Lake for bruch. After brunch all the boys got hair cuts and are set for summer! It amazes me how much older Aidan looks after he gets his hair cut... He is growing like crazy!! We stopped by the Edlin Greenhouse on our way home so I could pick out flowers for Mother's Day. Payton and I planted them and I think they look really nice!! It was a gorgeous weekend and we enjoyed it to the fullest! I am bummed that it is over but thankful we were all together and had so much fun!!
Aidan is talking more and more...he knows the word please and also knows HOW to use it...there is no way to say no to that!! :) He is fastly approaching his second birthday which seems hard to believe....
Carson is all boy and loving the nice weather...I think he could live outside. He had a few buddies stop by today to play with him outside. He is going to have so much fun this summer! I noticed today how tall he has gotten. He has way passed Payton and his jeans are really showing the growth spurt! I refuse to buy more jeans before summer! :)
